Energy Assistance
Apply online or call 800-506-5596 for help with your application.
Energy Assistance helps with heating and electric bills. You may receive a payment that is applied directly to your energy bill to help reduce what you owe.
- Available during the heating season (October 1 – April 15)
- Amount is based on your household and energy costs

Eligibility is based on your household size and total income. Many households qualify. Check guidelines below to see if you do.

If you’re at risk of losing service, out of fuel, or without heat, you may qualify for urgent help.
Furnace Repair or Replacement
Call 1-800-506-5596 for 24-hour support.
If your heating system stops working, help may be available to repair or replace it. If you have no heat, call right away.
